Rotary pranam !! In India, approx 140000 people die every year due to burn or in other words, one person die every 4 minutes. It is mainly due to very low awareness in Community in India about Skin donation and Skin banking. We, Rotary Club of Mumbai Borivali East, RC Delhi Shahdara and National Burn Center are organizing Essay writing competition on PAN India level to spread the awareness about skin donation. We wish to involve as many other clubs/NGOs as possible. They will invite the essays and forward them to us. We will recognize the clubs/NGOs on the basis of highest no of collection of entries Our competition shall be divided into 3 groups as below: Group 1 : Age 12 years to 16 years Group 2 : Age 16 years to 30 Years Group 3 : Age above 30 Years Topics for Essay is "Skin Donation-a brief and, it's importance" Guideline for Essays as below: 1) Essays must be typed and submitted in PDF Format 2) Participants must be from India Only 3) Maximum Words for Essay must be as below: · For Group 1 (Max 500 Words) · For Group 2 (Max 750 words) · For Group 3 (Max 1000 Words) 4) Essays must be submitted on or before 15th August 2020 by 12.00 Midnight 5) Essays must contain the following details in separate sheet: · Full Name · Name of Father · Address · DOB · Mobile No · Email ID 6) Essays can be in English or हिंदी We are going to give Cash prize money as below along with Certificate of participation to every participant as well as every club / NGO involved in the competition. 1st Prize :Rs 11000/- 2nd Prize :Rs 5500/- 3rd Prize : Rs 3000/- 10 consolation prizes of Rs 1100/- each The above prizes shall be given to winners of each group. There will be no fund requirement for the participating clubs/NGOs. Their role is just to collect essays and forward us. However, it will be their joint club project with us.
